Just for today, anger not, worry not, be grateful, be humble, do your work with appreciation and be kind to all.... Dr Usui
The next Reiki Day is on the
25th October 2009
The Reiki days are proving to be both popular and a powerful vehicle for healing work. Something about being in medium sized groups works very well so I have added a further date with a maximum number of 16 places being available. The Reiki day provides an opportunity to spend a day focusing on your own healing journey in a one day Reiki workshop. So for those of you who are always giving there is the space to concentrate on yourself for a change and for those of you still learning a place to polish your skills. The day is very relaxed and will consist losely of connecting to the energy through a variety of Chi exercises, connecting to our own process through the Findhorn angel and blessing cards and the four wind cards and exchanging healing treatments. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about your own personal healing journey or your healing practice from myself and others and to simply reconnect to old friends or make new ones.
The Reiki day is open to anyone who has practiced Reiki one through to Master level and costs £45 per person.
The Ashtara Center Otterwood Farm, Summer Lane, Exbury,Hampshire, SO42 7YS
Places are limited to 16 people per Reiki Day.

Defining
qualities of Reiki:
Practised by transmitting healing energy through the hands
Passed on through the initiation process from Master to Student
The healing energy is not guided by the practitioner but guided
spiritually.
Reiki is not based on belief, faith or suggestion.
The healing art of Reiki is a practice that restores balance and
harmony within the body by the transmission of healing energy through
the hands of the practitioner, bringing relief to a wide range of
physical, mental and emotional sufferings.
Reiki
is a Japanese word that translated means God Light Energy. It is
best split into two for us to understand its true meaning. The first
part REI is directly translated as God or Light. It is used to describe
the whole of creation, every cell, every blade of grass every stone
,tree, animal, human, every planet and star. It goes further to
also describe the Creative mind of God. So an accurate interpretation
of this word REI could be; ‘All That Is’ both in thought
and form. In our comprehension of Rei ,we see that their is a natural
order to everything in Creation and there is an underlying intelligence
contained within that Creation. This intelligence can be seen from
a single cell knowing its function in relationship to the whole,
right the way through to the Universe itself.
The
second part of the word KI; is the name given to the vital energy
that is used to animate & give life to this Creation. This energy
also known as Chi or Prana, can be seen as an ocean that surrounds
the physical Universe and everything in it. This Vital Energy as
its name suggests is fundamental in that it provides us with the
Vitality we require to maintain our health, balance and well being
on all levels, physically, emotionally, mentally & spiritually
